Aufgabe
Hi!
Könnt ihr bitte überprüfen ob das so einigermaßen richtig ist?

1.I sow (see) you yesterday. You sat (sit) outside a café.
2.Charles lived (live) in London now but he spend (spend) most of his youth in Manchester.
3.Mike didn’t go (go; not) to Liverpool last weekend.
4.When the parents came (come) home early from the holiday, their children had (have) a party in the living room.
5.It is going to rain (rain) next Monday.
6.We often have (have) vegetables for lunch.
7.She drove (drive) very fast when the accident was happened (happen).
8.How long have been you waiting (wait; you) now? The show will begin in a minute.
9.While they was watching (watch) TV, the telephone rang.
10.If they had come the next day, they haven’t saw (see; not) the mess.

Hier bin ich etwas unsicher, ob es nicht auch "She was driving very fast[...] heißen könnte/sollte.

>  10.If they had come the next day, they haven’t seen(see;

hier sind noch ein paar weitere Vorschläge :-)

hier nähme ich: You were sitting (weil er, sie, es ja gerade dann am dort Sitzen war)

ähnlicher Fall wie oben: their children were having a party

eher "will be raining" - weil es ja nur eine Wahrscheinlichkeit für den Regen gibt und keinen Anspruch darauf ;-)

If-Satz Typ III - Wenn es geklappt hätte, wäre es schön gewesen: If ...., they wouldn't have seen the mess.

Hallo Herby,
vielen Dank für die Ergänzungen.

Bei diesen Fällen merke ich immer wieder, dass mir mittlerweile doch die Übung fehlt.
Wie günstig, wenn dann jemand kommt und Licht ins Dunkel bringt...

Hallo nochmal,
es gibt wirklich viel schlimmere Konstruktionen...

Übung macht den Meister oder neudeutsch "learning by doing", dazu zwei Links:

Da kannst Du dich austoben, da hat man Geduld mit dir, da scheucht dich keiner...

Nicht vergessen:
Bei allem eigenen Anspruch und Ansporn - Geduld muss man mitunter auch mit sich selbst haben.
