Wäre echt dankbar, wenn jemand drüber schauen könnte
They boys act more instinctive than with common sense
instinctive: Ist als Adjektive gemeint, da es sich auf boy bezieht?
The reader gets a lot of indications, that they boys aren't able to cope/deal with this serious situation.
In my opinion Golding's main message is that within everyone of us resides (Bezug auf everyone, dann mit s?) a dark side of human being. This dark side is responsible for the cruel denouement of the story.
But if you act and rule like Ralph the beast will stay within, but of you command like Jack the chance that the beast will overcome you is much greater/larger.
The novel ends semi-tragically. When Ralph sees the naval officer he weeps, because of the loss of his innocent and his knowledge about about the human capacity for evil.

Der Satz passt soweit und jop, instinctive ist da als adj richtig.

Ich denke mal du meinst "the boys aren't..." und ich würd deal verwenden.

Resides müsste stimmen, allerdings bin ich mir mit dem within nicht sicher, oder ob es nur in heißt und dann vor everybody stehen bleibt. In der Form '(...) main message is that everyone of us has a dark side of human being inside.' müsste es aber passen. Der letzte Satz stimmt meiner Meinung nach.

Chance ist meist mit etwas positiven verbunden, wie Glück oder Möglichkeit etwas zu erreichen. 'possibility' ist da neutraler. Vorschlag wäre, statt greater higher zu verwenden.

Mit den Kommaregeln kenne ich mich leider nicht sehr gut aus, deswegen kann ich dir nicht sagen, ob das Komma vor because hin muss oder nicht.

Die meisten Begriffe sind leider vom Kontext abhängig... concern kommt meist in der Reihenfolge: to be concerned of/about sth und heißt dann über etwas beunruhigt sein.
