Hallo,
könntet ihr mir bei der Aufgabe vielleicht etwas helfen? Habe es zwar versucht glaube aber nicht das sie richtig ist:
1) main clause (subject clause) -> "Dr. Miller finally came back"
"in the afternoon" -> adverbial of time
"I got to talk" -> main clause
"to him" -> nominal clause (object)
2) "I just sat nodding my head" -> main clause
"in Dr. Miller's office -> adverbial of place
"so I wouldn't have to open my mouth -> adverbial of cause or relative clause?
3)"I think" -> main clause
"I" -> nominal clause (of subject)
"really am losing my mind" -> relative clause
4) "Oh nobody would believe" -> main clause
"anyone could be that dumb" ->nominal clause (object)
e) "I can hardly believe it myself" -> adverbial of condition
"even when" -> ??
"I know it's true" -> main clause
