hallo, ich hab hier ein statement zu dem ich die frage beantworten soll:
To what extent do you agree with friendman's statement "That's what twentysomethings are for- to light a fire under the contry" ?
(Der Satz davor lautet:
America needs a jolt of the idealism, activism and outrage (it must be in there) of Generation Q.)
Kann ich hier so antworten? :
"That’s what twentysomethings are for — to light a fire under the country" This is where I'm lost mentarch.
Who or what is he to say that Generation Q is supposed to light a fire to our sorry behinds?
It is we, not generation Q that have put all this mess on their heads by being incompetence and allowing a court to select a President for us and then re-electing such a neocon follower.
Thomas Friedman has just made the biggest mistake that could have been made by someone who is actually supposed to know what he is talking about.
This generation that he speaks of is a mixture of I a whole lot of type. One cannot take one class and confirm A Generation as Q or whatever.
One must look at all social backgrounds and then form said opinion, even though the one formed on Q is wrong.
(Hoffe auf ne Antwort und Verbesserungsvorschläge)
